Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7, 1998) popularly referred to as MrBeast in the United States, is an American YouTube star. In addition, he is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. [6] He has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that centers on costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began uploading videos on YouTube in the early months of 2012 at the age of 13, under the name "MrBeast6000" and his initial content included everything from "Let's Plays to "videos that estimated the amount of money other YouTubers have." After the 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video was viewed by tens and thousands of views in just a couple of days, Donaldson was an instant YouTube star. His first videos included Let's Plays and videos which were a look at the worth of other YouTubers. Donaldson recruited his former friends from school to manage the brand after it started to grow. MrBeast was the primary YouTube channel for Donaldson which had 60 members.
