Jessica Kelly Siobhan Reynold Bio

Jessica Kelly Siobhan Reilly, an English actress from England. Her role in After Miss Julie, at the Donmar Warehouse (2003 - 2004) was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award. Her film and TV credits include Eden Lake (2008), Sherlock Holmes (2009), and Yellowstone. Reilly was the child of Jack Kelly (retired police officer) and Chessington's hospital receptionist mom. She attended Tolworth Girls' School in Kingston where she took classes in drama for GCSE. Her parents are Irish. Reilly sent an email to producers of the TV drama Prime Suspect to ask for work, and six months later, she auditioned to play part in an episode of Prime Suspect 4: Inner Circle that aired on ITV on May 7, 1995. The actress was featured in an episode of "Bramwell" which was a period drama on television, which starred as Kathleen Le Saux, a unhappy young wife. Six years later, she starred with Helen Mirren on Last Orders. She collaborated with Terry Johnson on four productions including Elton John's Glasses (1997), The London Cuckolds (1998), The Graduate (2000) and Piano/Forte (2006). Johnson wrote Piano/Forte for her, and she said, "Kelly is possibly the most natural, dyed-in-the-wool deep-in-the bone actress I've worked with." Reilly says that Karel Resz, who directed her in The Yalta Game (Dublin) in 2001 was the one who taught her the most important aspects of acting. She claimed that Reilly was her masterclass. Without that play I don't know how I would have been able to have performed as Miss Julie.
